Clodagh first found her inspiration and flair as an artist while in her grandfathers studio as a child. Clodagh pursued her passion and travelled worldwide searching for more of natures beauty from the jungles of South America to the tropical gardens of Singapore.

Having lived in the Near and Far East, Clodagh's fascination for exotic life and plants was highlighted by the rising sun. This influenced the beautiful, bright and bold canvases that revel Clodagh's travels, love and energy. 

Through this medium Clodagh generated the innovative idea of individual hand painted lampshades. Clodagh explores exotic flowers capturing them on canvas and as lampshades using a wide range of mediums including acrylic, metallic and built in glitter for the golds and silvers expressed throughout, not to mention some other elements or secrets for each piece that Clodagh prefers to keep to herself that only enhance the uniqueness of each piece. 
The best time of day to appreciate the work is in the evening, when darkness falls and the shade lights up. its unique style, raw powerful colour and vivid expression comes to life - magical, vibrant and pure creating an instant conversation piece.
